All free anti-virus solutions perform equally well round and about. It is a matter of personal preference. They do not score as good as various paid anti-virus solutions. AVG, Avast and Microsoft Security Essentials are some examples of free of charge anti-virus solutions.

Comodo Antivirus 5 is all you need.
if you want an internet security suite, you can get Comodo Internet Security.
Both comodo antivirus and comodo internet security are free
The difference between comodo antivirus and comodo internet security is that comodo antivirus does not include a firewall, while comodo internet security has a firewall
If you have comodo, you don’t need other antimalware software, because comodo antivirus include a sandbox, it will isolate anything unknown, and after it is being analysed, it will be moved to the trusted list if it is a legitimate file, or else, if it is a malicious file, it will be deleted, and it will be added to the signature database, it may sometimes alert you to allow or block specific actions if it needs to.

Well, this should answer for both free and payed versions:
Here’s a few antiviruses that you could look to get. All of them are great:
Please look at the links I gave. You will learn about each antivirus program I have shown
**Note** If you buy only an antivirus such as BitDefender Antivirus or Avast free, then I would suggest getting PC Tools Threatfire, which can be used alongside all antivirus programs, and delivers absolute maximum protection against spyware!
Also, you won’t get good reviews at ►toptenreviews.com that someone posted.

Pls don’t use AVG Free, it doesn’t have ‘root-kit’ scanners nor run in ‘real time’. I tried it 1 time & it cost me a new HDD.
I recommend Comodo Internet Security (has more features, than just A/V & comes with a lifetime license). Also works in real time & has root-kit scanners. Download fr ‘filehippo.com’.
try avast free antivirus
