txtNationtv #47 – Amazon Cloud Player beats iTunes Match and Mandatory Timeline for Facebook

  1. @echoez wouldnt that be just download the mp3?? They are selling an mp3 instead of an m4a like itunes. The mp3 can be played anywhere offline. No DRM so it can go anywhere… so I am lost as to why you would want an amazon branded offline player. Heard of VLC, Winamp, windows media player… etc. ?

  2. the problem is apple tv.
itunes match works perfectly with it in addition to my ipad, iphone, 2 mac’s.
plus i dont think amazon has a non-web standalone player yet that can be installed and listened to offline

  3. The fact that AT&T still charges to allow tethering is beyond me. I am “Grandfathered” in with my unlimited data and I feel as if I’m already paying for the data I can do what I want with it.

  4. Microsoft offers cloud services in the form of Windows Azure.

  5. There are various others like Rackspace, OnthenetOffice, etc. who have their own offerings.

  6. well..there is of course dropbox with 2gb free storage space, mp3tunes and esnips for music, then windows live skydrive i think it has if i remember correctly 7 gb of free storage space and there is A LOT more. 4shared, box, google play. i have an account for a couple of them. dropbox for example i only use to deposit pictures and small docs like word files and such and the ones which offer more space for your files generally i use for music files. and for that I also use audials tuebite. its a soft and you can transfer and manage your files on the cloud, it’s pretty helpful actually.
anyway, hope this helps, but i think there should be a lot of results if you just do a quick google search.
btw, this is a link to that soft i was telling you about, in case you decide to give it a try: http://audials.com/en/cloud/google_play.html
