  1. I don’t know an awful lot about this field, there are free animation programs on the internet out there, but the one I know of which is very popular – I don’t like one of its features and I don’t like a lot of the “films” it is being used to create. a very few are good/nice. would really like to see some nice stuff.

I just searched for “animation software free” and some stuff came up. however, be warned – there’s a LOT of really ugly stuff out there in the animation world, even on the software’s site’s ads.

hope you are good at cad.

hold onto any goodness you have.

  2. yeah, but your going to need some dough. most animation studios you can buy off websites for about $ 100-$ 1500 but you can get stdent discounts if you take video classes in high school (dosent have to be animation). i dont know much about making catoons, but when i was like 12 i had a cracked version of sony vegas and i made each scene in paint and made it each like a 1/8 of a second long, but that took along time and was pretty short and sh*tty, plus i did it cause i was bored. look up animation software on google, adobe probably has one.

  3. There’s a couple of free software programs you can try.

    Giotto – http://vectorian.com/
    Pencil – http://www.pencil-animation.org/

    are both free.

Of course there’s always Adobe Flash but that’s expensive ($ 700).
    There’s also Toon Boom – http://beta.toonboom.com/ – which is $ 330

For 3D animations then there’s the free Blender – http://www.blender.org/

    Then there’s the classic stop-action animation – http://www.wikihow.com/Create-a-Stop-Motion-Animation

If you don’t mind working online then there’s GoAnimate – http://goanimate.com/
