Greenpeace apparently doesn’t understand the massive irony in this…

People have no idea how powerful Greenpeace is! Companies fear the activists and the bad reputation and are forced to address the problems.

I have used AVG for a long time with no complaints.

for anti virus I’d recommend avast though avg is also good and for registry cleaner I recommend eusing
Avast Internet Security is the best virus protection available right now, it can catch all viruses and I have never gotten a virus with it (and I download lots of stuff, this thing catches like 10 viruses every day). I can even tell you how to get it for free (and a one year license key) For registry, I would recommend Registry Mechanic, which I can also tell you how to get for free. Or you can also try TotalSystemCare (i think that’s what it’s called)

i’m using Avast! Free Antivirus 5.0. The new version has been released on their website. It s a freeware. You can register yourself on the avast website to recive the registration key . They provide timely updates (small in size, ie. In kb’s. Which s usefull for people with limited internet plans ). It s fully legal n it generates a virus recovery database to report avast about the new viruses .
To detect n delete malwares on your comp use malware bytes . Another free software . N a powerfull tool to clean your comp of malwares. I use these softwares myself .
You know what ? Your question alone invites many hackers that will give you bogus sites just to get at your computer !
Don’t feel bad, I have lost computers thinking “I may get by without having to pay” your registry is more than likely contaminated with blocks that make you think you no longer have control of your pc.
For free..I would suggest using the free stinger cleaner “McAfee advert Stinger”. These folks have helped me in the past to clear up my computer…just type the above words and be sure it reflects the correct site. Download the Stinger to the pc and follow the instructions…it only clears virus of sort / and un blocks many changes made to your computer.
You can choose to have a icon…use it .. If they offer a free trial , go for it.
Hope I helped ya..
Now if you want the best of the best…go to Wal-Mart and purchase Norton…

Here is the top 5 free anti-virus programs:
Avast 5
AVG 9
Avira AntiVir Personal 10
Microsoft Security Essentials
Panda Cloud Anti-Virus
Just personal opinion of course. I use Avast , I have also got superantispyware and Malwarebytes. I recently changed to Comodo firewall which seems fine and I seem to boot up quicker. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly.
