  4. actually there are lots of ways.

you could put the contents on a flashdrive (make sure that the contents of the drive can be copied)

or you could you hook the laptop to the pc, sort of a network then copy and paste the contents into the laptop, then from there you can install the game

and you can also use an external optical drive (it connects via the usb)

  5. unfortunately there is no easy way of doing this nor is there a legal way. My suggestion is to take the game back to the store and see if you can get your money back. What I suggest is buying it off of Steam or direct2drive. These both will allow you to download the game and not have to use a cd.
I suggest Direct2drive since you dont need to install a client to install the game.
http://www.direct2drive.com or http://store.steampowered.com/. And there usually cheaper there than if you get them at the store. And also you can keep redownloading the game if you ever decide to take it off your computer.

  6. Games on CDs and DVDs often have copy protection that won’t let you install them unless you have the original disc, and often, even after install, you have to keep the disc in the drive to play.

The most trouble-free way would be to buy an external DVD drive, like this Samsung external USB DVD writer for about $ 50:

I have one of these for my netbook. This will solve the lack of a drive in your laptop.
