diffrent persons would have different opinions but majority would go to these choices:
(allfree)
Antivirus (AVIRA, or AVAST)
firewall (comodo or online armor or outpost firewall)
get it from cnet or file hippo or softpedia
since they are fre, try and test combinations in your pc first. the best rated program may not be the best for your set up. so give it a shot , but do not install more than 1 av or 1 firewall at the same time. antimalware programs such as malwarebytes and superantispyware can be run at the same time with noi problems.(and these 2 are also free) , you’ll need them too
