I find the Kindle Fire has more to offer. Though the Nook Tablet may be stronger in some specs, only the Kindle Fire gives you access to the thousands of songs and videos in the Amazon Music and Video marketplaces. Barnes and Noble don’t have anything like that for their Nook Tablet, but boasts about Hulu, Netflix, and all the same sources that the Kindle Fire can also use.
I’d prefer the nook. It has more internal storage which is useful when you don’t have access to internet. Make sure you download dropbox (http://db.tt/r9A91lgn), it allows you to store 2 GB on your computer and automatically view them on your tablet.
