Hello there. I just got a laptop yesterday from Best Buy, and the people who work there put on an anti-virus called Webroot Antivirus. It has been very easy, and it updates once a week, so there are no threats it doesn’t know about. It is very easy to use, and I highly recommend it. If you are more advanced with a computer, try using Kaspersky Antivirus.

I think Microsoft Security Essentials. I don’t think you should go with Norton, because when we had that program, it screwed up our computer, and it would always freeze up. I wouldn’t suggest any random one, or one with company you’ve never heard of. Maybe MacAfee but I’ve heard that’s not perfect, it’s just average.

The best anti virus protection program is AVG Antivirus. You can pay for it if you want to or you can get the free version. I use it and it is pretty good. It is not like those other free programs that sucks. You can do a little research on the program if you want too all im saying it is so good, and its better that it has a good Free Version.
the best is ZeroBank.com it will encrypt and transmit your data over their secure severs it’s not free they offer a free service but it’s though the onion network and does not encrypt your data and is slow…check out SandBoxie.com it allows you to surf in a sandbox environment even if you get hit it can not penetrate your system it’s not free…

Do not got Norton or McAfee! They are crappy and will bog your computer down. Avg is a good one, like the previous guy said and so is Microsoft Security Essentials, which is the program I have been using for the past year or so.

AVG? Norton?????
Lol
I recommend NOD32 from http://www.eset.com
It is very light on resources (so will not cause a performance hit) and is also extremely effective at virus protection.
I use and reccomend Avira, it’s free easy to use and can be upgraded and updated easily, even without Internet access (read their help file).
