  1. Thank you.

  2. No it is not free. There is no such thing.

    1) buy it

    2) use a generic free version http://www.libreoffice.org and yes Libre Office will create Word, Excel, and Powerpoint files

    3) use the cloud version that is free. Microsoft provides the software for unlimited free usage online. There is absolutely nothing you have to download or buy. All you need is a microsoft account. Just create yourself one if you don’t already have one and log in and start using Office 2010 for free unlimited usage. Your files are saved on their online server. When you need to put them on your hard drive you can download it.

It’s here. Just log in, after you get in, click the “SkyDrive” link, and then click the “Create” link and it will offer you the ability to create a word, excel, powerpoint, or onenote file. After you create the file, if for some reason you need it on your hard drive, all you have to do is download it.

  3. If its only a matter of viewing and perhaps printing the Document. You can always download the latest legitimate Word 2010 viewer from Microsoft’s own dowload section of their Website.
