You don’t even have to match the fruit gem to get credit for the badge. All
you have to do is create one.

There is a good chance for it not to work either for OS files incompatibility or because you would have to track down system files as well. However, if you kept the original installation file and simply reinstall the game on the new PC, you would greatly improve the odds of it to work, rather than trying to do it manually.
