  1. Excellently done

  2. the drawback with BOTH of these devices are you will be limited to ONLY apps, books, videos that Barnes & Nobile or Amazon sells. which is much more limited that what Google has on the Play Store.

your best option is the new Nexus 7 tablet, that is the same price, has full google acces, a camera for chat, a much faster processor and ram.

  3. Here is a fine review on Kindle fire, should help you out on this decision:

I would prefer that you go for the Kindle fire as the better option. These are some of my reasons for Kindle fire:
    – Better prices and contents
    – Free amazon cloud storage
    – Free one month amazon prime membership
    – The UI is a bit more user friendly.
    – USB cable for charging from wall charger or PC/laptop. (On nook you have no option other then the wall charger.)

Nook tablet does have some good advantages over Kindle fire like:
    – microSD slot
    – 1Gb RAM in 16Gb but if you want the 8Gb nook tablet then its the same.
    – In store support

    Hope this helps!
