Ok don’t use Bearshare like the first person stated. It is legal, but that’s because it is run and funded by government agencies. It has lots of popular songs, but restrictions like how long you can listen to them before they stop working are put in place. This information is at least true for the newer version of Bearshare (anything after version 6). If you want the working version of Bearshare, I recommend taking a visit to filehippo.com and downloading an older version of Bearshare which was developed before the software was compromised by government agencies.
I personally though recommend that you use a website called Sound Station (www.soundstation1.tk) which has millions of song downloads and is virus free.
Also to the haters of Limewire: no, limewire doesn’t cause viruses… if you get a virus from Limewire you obviously are not sure what you are doing and not checking the extensions of files. The only possible way you can get a virus is if you download an executable file (exe). If you still want to be ignorant about it then also know that Bearshare is the same way, Shareaza is the same way, and the same with Ares Galaxy, and Loganshare.
