I would have to say yes and no. K I would think if you has someone do a show with you from another country, you could maybe do it through skype. I don’t know. I have other dj’s do shows, and how I do that is, I give all my djs the server IP and Port number. When they go on air I turn off my encoder they turn these on. Simple but it works for me.

I have a question. I have the computer, i have the mixer and i have the server. I send signal from 1 computer to mixer i connect everything to mixer, but my question is how i send the signal from mixer to the server, because that i can’t find anywhere. i need extra hardware, but what? Please someone tell me, because i have no idea. In this video is no explanation about that. I i didn’t get it from the first time.

Dude you have good information.. But you just talk and talk and talk about everything else except showing us how to start a station.. You get bord after a while.. Stick to the points.. Great information though.. I appreciate it..

Does anybody have problems when other people hear it? like everything is on and its running but it tells people wanting to listen that’s its off? it wont stream its just says its ready? it works for an hour and then it doesn’t want to work

can 2 people broadcast to the same channel at the same time? like if i were live in the studio but another dj would pick up the station from another location. or another host talking with me on the same station in a different location.

Cn you please do some videos about how you go about the BUSINESS of owning/ running a online radio station…. what ya bills are like, how doing stuff for free in the community works or doesnt work, …. the possibility of hs or college students doing internships for credit… ie actually running ya station the way you want with nothing but interns…..

Thanks but I found that out a few hrs after asking the question lol Dude you should consider a automation program as well as mixing I am starting up a station and it’s so easy to use especially when need the toilet or just cant be bothered to mix.

The Mixer is a Gemini PS-828EFX, But in the next month I will be using the Behringer DX2000 USB Mixer. The mic I use is Electro Voice Re-320, and that is it for talkover system. I hope that helped, and thanks for watchin the videos.

Hey DJ Doctor J many thanks for uploading this video for me it was totally awsome and very informative. Really like your setup and hope it was of no inconvienence to you when you had to take everything apart. I will be recommending this to anyone else setting up an internet radio station as there is no videos like this in youtube that goes indepth to the hooking up of all the different pieces of equipment needed. Again thanks buddy for doing this video for me. Much appreciated.
