Thanks. This helped a lot. I got a looping boot screen, but doing a factory
reset fixed that.

install it please
DaveSimonH February 4, 2014
May want to use the backup options to backup the stock ROM first, then if
there’s any problems and you have to return to store then you can put it
back to factory settings.
Adam Sams February 4, 2014
Appreciate it, was planning on picking up a Nook HD+ and the ability to run
full on Android was the one deciding factor. This is awesome. Thumbs Way
up.
Quinn Lawrence February 4, 2014
Thanks for the information! I have a question. I am currently running
Snapshot on my Nook. I’m not totally convinced with this program. Which
nightly build did you use? I can’t get those to download on my Nook. I
would get a Status 7 error.
Sam Vaidya February 4, 2014
Thank you man! Your effort is greatly appreciated :)

Situ Manandhar February 4, 2014

Very helpful if a little dry. One huge warning to those out there with the
new HD+ is that once you set it up and install the latest updates it no
longer will boot from the SD card. I had to wipe my Nook and restore
factory settings before this process worked. Once I did that the
instructions worked perfectly. THANKS!
bryan jowett February 4, 2014
a bit confused the file you said is 4gig .. yet .. its only 9.5mb on your
file?
yes im being thick but just being careful
however it works so thanks and thanks
little note if you have update to 10.1.2 or what ever b and n call it ..
go into settings and do a reset and de register .. then it will auto book
the bootloader and you are away!
Donnovan Mason February 4, 2014
does this work on the nook hd regular
Jared Broome February 4, 2014
I did on my 32gb HD+ but and now it is saying that I’m using 11gb and I
only have 16gb left. I only have a couple small apps installed. So you know
where I could see what’s taking up that space?
kingmartell72 February 4, 2014
You can also use Linux/Mac to install on the sd card. All you have to do is
open up a terminal and use the command, dd. You cd to your directory (cd
/home/kingmartell/Downloads/Nook) and then you use dd (dd
if=NookHDplus-bootable-CWM-6028-for-stock-4GB-rev4-(05.15.13) of=/dev/sdb).
dd can be finiky though you want just /sdb not /sdb1 because that is a
partion. I also found out that if you leave the sdcard unformatted it works
faster and better. Hope this helps
