Getting Started with Amazon S3

  1. Amazon generally has the best prices on the kindles since it is their product. If you are concerned about the price, look under used kindles on Amazon for kindles sold by the seller “Warehouse Deals”. Warehouse Deals is the name of a seller Amazon has created for open box and returned items. They are sold and shipped by Amazon, but have been returned or repackaged and are sold at a cheaper price.

Also watch local stores (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc) as they will sometimes give a gift card with the purchase of a kindle.

  2. Amazon has them new and USED! You get the best prices used. They are basically brand new, and you get major discounts

  3. I found this link..

  7. Hi michael, why would you want Kindle if there’s Nook on the market? E-Ink Nook Simple Touch from Barnes & Noble at $ 99 (without ads) has twice the battery life of Kindle ($ 139 without ads), faster page turns than Kindle, and microSD card slot to expand capacity that neither Kindle has. With Nook you can checkout eBooks from public libraries – just need to get Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) software (free from Adobe site). Also it’s worth mentioning that if you walk in with any Nook to Barnes & Noble store, you’ll get tech support and you’re allowed to read ANY available eBook for free while in the store via free provided in the store Wi-Fi where Nook eBook store has over 2.5 million of paid books and about the same number of free public domain books. Nook already has Cloud as your ebooks are stored in your online library as well as downloaded to your device. Nook Simple Touch actually has a hidden web browser – just press the virtual “Search” button at the bottom of your Nook’s screen and key a URL into the search bar when it comes up.
Also, no point in getting 3G Kindle now as they limit what web sites you can access (only Amazon store and Wikipedia are allowed.)
You can buy Nook’s at Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Millon, Walmart, BestBuy, Staples, OfficeMax, Fred Mayer, P.C. Richard, Radio Shack, Target, Fry’s, Kmart, Sears etc. stores and web sites.
Per Consumer Reports, CNET, PCWORLD, etc. pro reviews Nook Touch is the best ereader on the market.
