Real player works excellently… You do download but it’s free and you keep everything and it can change to whatever format you want if you need to change it… It’s got a converter and whatnot.

If you are using Google Chrome as your internet browser, there is an extension called YouTube Center that allows you to download videos. It adds a download button on top of the view count that allows you to download the videos in different resolutions. This just helps if you want faster download speeds, but it shouldn’t really matter. You can download YouTube center here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/114002. When you are done installing, there is no restart needed, just head straight to YouTube and download the video!

Save youtube videos on Internet Explorer
Watch the full video on Internet Explorer first. Wait till it gets finished.
Once video is completed, head to Tools >> Internet Options >> Settings >> View Files
You can find a large sized file there with unknown file type and long file name.
Copy that file and paste in a reachable location on your computer, ex : desktop, my documents etc
Rename that file to something with .flv extension, ex : youtube Video.flv
Play this video using VLC Media Player or FLV player.
2.Or find some free youtube downloaders from applemacvideo,wondershare.
All you need to do is copy and paste the url of the youtube videos you wish to download.

U can also use Audials Light for the job, it’s free and works as well to download and save youtube videos, even lets you save the audio from youtube videos to mp3 tracks if you ever need to do that.
Besides, this one also acts like a personal media cloud through the audials anywhere feature.
That means you can as well use this little proggy to access your files anywhere and even share music and videos with friends via invites, if you were worried you wouldn’t have any other use for such an app.

You can use a easy tool that can help you convert songs to itunes. I found this freeware by accident and i thought it’s very powerful. I always use it save my favourite movies and songs from Youtube. Very simple to easy! You can try it!
