It remains on your computer and other ordinary people’s computer who have downloaded from you. I don’t think you would want to post your files in the peer-to-peer network.
Your files on SkyDrive are kept private and protected from other people accessing them as the account is locked with your password. You may also selectively share some files to the public by putting them in your public folder so others who are sent links to the files can download them.
