That’s what’s so amazing too, is that he has that ‘touch’ needed for the newer touch screen types of computers! (Which I too have a challenge with)
It comes naturally to them!

I know!!! He is now 6, and is teaching me how to do things on the ipad, and on my cell phone. It’s also no longer about a mouse, and the type of scrolling he is doing in the video…
-drag and drop…and using fingers to enlarge font and more…
It’s fun to watch and learn from him now! Sometimes he does things on the computer and I ask him how he ‘knows’ these things…his answer “I just KNOW’ Grandma!!!” lol…

Since they are beyond the understanding of their parents, they are also beyond parental guidance and correction with these things. ie. like sexting and cyber porn.
Early ex-poser to the computer can create an uncontrollable young monster. My point is: they must REMAIN “IN CHECK” with these things. Computer knowledge is good in all but remember, it can be used for evil. I support the good that comes from it all.

A child having a competitive edge with computer information especially BEYOND the abilities of their parents can be very inspiring. However, many teens who were hit by the internet boom of the 90s and early 2k are cyber sociopaths. They are good on computers and with other technology like phone texts and etc but when to comes to people, they lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience. Many times, they become antisocial and narcissistic.
