Any of those clients like frostwire or limewire or kazaa (basically any P2P file sharing client) uses the same network called the gnutella network…. if you dont know what you are doing you can always get a virus, doenst matter what client you use…. if you want to download music and be sure you dont accidentally download the occasional virus, use iTunes, or Rhapsody, or any paid service…

    LaLa.com is a cool one – lets you buy songs and store them in the cloud so you can get to your music collection from any computer, and if you want to download them to your ipod or other mp3 player it lets you download the files to your computer.

  2. If you only want to listen to the music without downloading it, you can use a streaming page or program. “Spotify” is a nice program that lets you listen to unlimited music for free. But the bad thing about Spotify is that you need an invite to join.
    However, it’s easy to get an invite from a forum. You can also buy Spotify Premium (doesn’t require an invite) which lets you listen to music in offline mode and lets you have it on your iPod Touch or iPhone.
