@oronbaba Thanks for this info. This album was released in 1979. Nigeria
was then a Great Nation under the leadership of Head of State Olusegun
Obasanjo. It’s sad that Nigeria’s best were in the past. And to all the
members of cloud 7, MAY THEIR SOULS REST in PEACE. Thanks. I also thank you

@mosaicolu I believe all of them are late… Cliff David was the last
survivor of the group, but he passed away in April 2009.

@bandillero. Fire in Soweto by Sonny Okosun came out years before this
piece. I was in Lagos when this came out. Lagos was TRULY the Center of
excellence then. I played this record so much till all the grooves smoothen
out. Lets continue to play these real music. And do forget about the new
generation Artists struggling to immitate these American gang rappers in
their music. I call them “The Wannabees”. I will never listen to the music
of the Fakers. Thanks BANDILLERO.
