Level 90 Dps shadow priest… Yeah i have played WoW? I didn’t even know what guild wars was untill number 2 came out and im a pretty knowledgeable gamer, but you see, even people who barley play games have still played oblivion/skyrim. This creates already a HUGE fanbase, not only that, it is coming to consoles, do you know how many people play xbox and playstation combined? Over 100 million… Im not saying that all of them will buy it, but it makes the 9 million people look tiny…

Roughly 3 million copies of Guild Wars 2 were sold (I own one of those copies) and people could have quit, sold it, or lost it by then. 9 MILLION people are playing WoW and paying monthly, meaning they are constantly playing.

Ok I’ll tell you. WoW is the largest competing MMORPG in existence with over 9 million subscribed players. It gets hate because anything big tends to attract hate. People thought GW 2 would kill wow. It didn’t. People thought Rift would kill wow. It didn’t. People thought SWTOR would kill wow. It didn’t. And you expect me to believe Elder fucking Scrolls online will? I bet you haven’t even played WoW. I’ve payed money for and played all the games I’ve listed and IMO WoW’s the best. Just sayin’.
