I don’t think, its safe to store anything on that cloud!! Clearly its a
trick to allure people to give there email ids, and there is no guarantee
and cloud company will retain for lifetime!!

Dropbox is an online cloud storage service, aka an online hard drive that is free.
Dropbox works by sending the data to the server located wherever and stores it there for safety and security. Nobody can access your data unless you gave them a link or permission. Dropbox works by uploading your data to a server and it makes a copy there, the original one is still on your phone/computer. If say your phone breaks or your computer breaks, the data is not lost as it was uploading onto the server, the catch is that you have to update your data on Dropbox or else it doesn’t make a copy of it, lucky, Dropbox automatically updates the data during usage so it is hassle free. You can access your data stored in Dropbox anywhere there is internet access. Dropbox does have an iPhone app as well as a computer program, that is how it knows what to upload and how to access your data.

You can access your Dropbox account with the Dropbox app on a phone/tablet or in any web browser on a computer. The contents of your Dropbox is private to you unless you add something to a public folder or share a link to picture etc.
