  1. 1) Microsoft requires an account as a form of ID. It’s necessary.
    2) It will install all of the office programs directly onto your computer one you put the Key Code in which you will get when you buy it.

Lesus: Open Office is quite bad compared to Microsoft Office 2013

  2. the reason it’s asking for you to sign in /sign up is that most new windows os are now tied into windows live – it’s nothing drastic – I’ve had a hotmail account for +8 years but hardly ever use it but hotmail is now windows live but I still can use the old account

I would suggest trying one of the 3 top free office packages – you might find some do almost exactly the same as ms office – take 30mins out with a cuppa and read here http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-office-suite.htm

  3. I don’t have a clue what you mean by “single use one time download.”

You can purchase a retail copy of Office 2013 Home and Student either as a key card from retail stores such as office supply stores and computer stores. Amazon.com and other on-line stores also sell these, but you have to wait for delivery.

Most colleges and universities offer Microsoft Office to students for free or a price that is merely a token. The first thing to do is to check with the librarian at your college and ask whether or not your school makes this offer. If it does, that’s your best bet.

If your college doesn’t make this offer, then you can still get office at a steeply discounted rate here:

If you are a student, but not a college or university student, then there is yet another program for you to get Microsoft Office at a specially discounted price here:

The special student offers are download only.

  4. Download Microsoft Office 2013 , 2010 , 2007 and 2003 here..
