  1. Im only familiar with the free stuff… but Microsoft security essentials is actually one of the best anti-viruses out there and its completely free… ranks right up there with the big names like norton and whatnot. I reccomend Spybot search and destroy, great free program at removing the small stuff that big scanners overlook

    Other good ones:
    Avast!
    AVG
    Norton
    Kapersky

  2. I recommend Avg Free it is very reliable and simple and effective .

  3. Here is an unbiased comparative:

Any 3 star rated will be miles ahead of crapafee.

I would also install the WOT add-on into your browser, and only go to sites with green rating.
WOT gives safety ratings for sites, and search engine returns.

  4. For free you can have Panda Cloud, Immunet free or Microsoft Security Essential. But you prefer paid versions so go for Kaspersky AV, Norton AV or ESETnod32. All these do not hog resources, are reliable and thorough. Always remember surf wisely.

  5. I recommend to use Norton on your computer. Download and install the Norton on the computer.
You can install the free Norton from the following link.
