@roott7: There are some books for 411 and 412, but the funny thing is
that books mentioned at that “MCSA in 90 days” are still not available, so
I had to learn from some old ones.

Why so long winded? Can you be more concise? Its great information but some
of us would like to learn actual skills rather then sit through over an
hour that can probably be compressed into 20-30 minutes.

Unlike Microsoft Office, OpenOffice and its deriviates are not able to be installed as stand-alone products. It’s all or nothing. LibreOffice is a “fork” of OpenOffice, so they are both the same in this regard.
If drive space is critical and/or available memory is low, consider using a web-browser (aka “cloud”) based Office suite so that you don’t have to download or install anything at all. You can also store all your files in the “cloud” so your files won’t hog any drive space, either. Microsoft offers a completely free cloud-based version of Microsoft Office at docs.com.

You have to download the whole lot but when installing you can do a custom install and choose which bits you need. When I first started to use open office I only wanted the spreadsheet prog. I now install most of the suite but not the math or presentation parts for example. Tomorrow I will install the bits I want from the latest version which I downloaded earlier.
If speed is a problem could you not ask a friend to download it for you and copy it to your machine and then copy and install it?
no HD? Surprised..
