Kindle Fire $ 199 Has pandora, Hulu, Netflix etc. plus 8G memory on board as well as Amazon cloud which makes memory obsolete your content is online and available anytime via 3G I have a Kindle keyboard, no netflix etc but it has actual ink electronics in it’d display great for reading as it looks exactly like print on paper. and without backlighting it can be read in bright sunlight unlight backlit displays. My original Kindle I have downloaded entire collections of more than fifty books, in seconds(Amazon is very very fast) I have over 20 hours of Audio and more than a thousand books and still have over 1600m left in memory. I love my Kindle and the Fire is my next choice.

Hi, Natalie, you’re right that iPad is much better but also is much more expensive. However, there’s something revolutionaty on the market that is much better than either Kindle eReader or Kindle Fire.
Per Consumer Reports, CNET, ENGADGET, PCWORLD, etc. pro reviews e-Ink Nook Simple Touch and LCD Nook Tablet from Barnes & Noble are much better devices than comparable Kindle models.
Nook Touch is the best device on the market and also is the best value at $ 99 without ads vs. Kindle Touch ($ 139 without ads). I’d only suggest touch screen devices as you flip pages – you don’t press buttons on physical books. Nook Touch has twice the battery life of Kindle ($ 139 without ads), faster page turns than Kindle, and microSD card slot to expand capacity that neither Kindle has. Also it’s worth mentioning that if you walk in with any Nook to Barnes & Noble store, you’ll get tech support and you’re allowed to read ANY available eBook for free while in the store via free provided in the store Wi-Fi where Nook eBook store has over 2.5 million of paid books and about the same number of free public domain books. Nook already has Cloud as your ebooks are stored in your online library as well as downloaded to your device. Nook SImpletouch actually has a hidden web browser – just press the virtual “Search” button at the bottom of your Nook’s screen and key a URL into the search bar when it comes up.
Nook Tablet has been getting rave pro reviews on the web and it is the best device in it’s class. It’s got Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Angry Brids, etc., the best battery life, the best screen, double the RAM and space for apps/photoes/movies, microSD slot and a microphone for Skype (not on Kindle), physical volume controls on the side (not on Kindle) and much zippier performance during video playback and apps usage than choppy/laggy act of Kindle Fire according to many user and pro’s reviews.
