Hello Mr. Hyde, Which translation?
2ndSkies Forex April 24, 2014
Basketball – but it makes the point well. FYI – people have been using
Ichimoku (& kumo breaks) successfully for over 5 decades. There is an
entire thread in FF with almost 2million views just on ichimoku trading,
showing example after example of the kumo break working. So instead of
looking for outer confirmation by one person making one trade (low bar),
try learning as much as you can from it, try it out and see what works.
Seems like a far more effective method imo. Kind Regards, Chris Capre

Hello Liu, They are in Japanese. I had to pay someone a lot of money to
translate them. As to my knowledge, they have never been translated prior,
or printed in English. Kind Regards, Chris Capre
2ndSkies Forex April 24, 2014
This seems like a limited understanding of Ichimoku.Even Goichi Hosada once
said, ‘Out of the 10K people that trade Ichimoku, maybe 10 actually
understand it.’ I’m pretty sure he was saying that because there is more to
it that most see.But to say its useless is a pretty empty statement as
people have been using it for over 4 decades.Showing a scalp on a 5m chart
to prove its value is like asking a basketball player to make 1 free throw
to show they can play ball. Pretty silly imo…
2ndSkies Forex April 24, 2014
Really? And a live example would convince you of what? Kind Regards, Chris
Capre
Liu Yadi April 24, 2014
Really? Do you have English books or Japanese books? as I think they are
not translated into English yet.especially the books of Hosada,(I know
japanese people a lot, they would never teach other race something core in
their life and culture etc. unless they are forced to) If in English,
please tell me where I can fetch them. cos I cant read Japanese, I learned
this system in a japanese trading room where some of the japanese collegues
taught me.Cheers

Hello Liu-If you watch a recent webinar I did with BMT, I incorporate the
chikou. But I think its a misunderstanding to say you will lose a lot of
trades not using the chikou. If you really understand Ichimoku, & have read
Hosada’s 7 original books & Sasaki’s there are only small discussions on
the chikou. I have both books. There are far more discussions on time, wave
& price theory/analysis.Hosada even says it himself that time is the most
crucial aspect of Ichimoku. Kind Regards – Chris Capre
Liu Yadi April 24, 2014
ok. Good on you then. I did a little rearch on time span. like sasaki’s
Kihon Suchi time pattern and the number 9.17.26.33.42…..etc… I have not
got so into it, as time ,in my view, is not fairly. accurate. but if you
can master on it, you d be trading well.

Just what I needed. Another tool in my belt. Thanx

that you are not picking out the trades that would win anyway. if you test
live you don’t see what is going to happen ofcourse.
2ndSkies Forex April 24, 2014
1st off – nobody is saying this wins all the time. Its like any system – it
has wins & losses, however if played well it will give you an edge over
time. But really??? Showing one live trade is all it takes to convince you?
Kind of a low bar don’t you think? The video is to show the base model how
to trade kumo breaks, not to claim its perfect. But asking someone to show
1 live trade to demonstrate a system is like having a basketball player
make one free throw to show they can play…Silly imo

I like your baseball metafores
rhindmann April 24, 2014
Excellent
Liu Yadi April 24, 2014
well, you seem dont use Chikou span, which is the most important line of
the system. for sure, you can make some handsome profit by just taking Kumo
breakouts, but I would think you would lose a lot of trades as well.(take a
look at recent AUDUSD decline) anyway, you should really have a deep read
of the textbook, maybe find someone who really knows the system. I cant say
I am an expert, I am just a trader who uses ichimoku for long. cheers. your

lol everyone is a genius at explaining how indicators work outside of live
trading. I see nothing special. I see only trends, trend reversal, and
major levels of support and resistance without paying attention to the
Ichimoku which isn’t as complicated as you made it seem. People might not
use this because it’s somewhat useless. Show me a scalp using 5 minute
charts in live trading. Overall, well explained video but it’s just a
useless indicator.
