  1. Anyone tried the Hostgator Webhosting? I have heard some unbelivable things about it and my mate told me that you can use this special coupon (HGCOM25OFF) when you register to get 25% off their hosting plan.

  2. Excellent Free Cloud Storage: bit.ly / NLNDF7

  3. yeah, it was a fun run.

  4. Alas, no longer available, Paul. Oh well.

  5. yeah, pretty sure it’s a USA thing only.

  6. one out of two ain’t bad 😉

  7. I’m Canadian, and it’s not available here either — “just” the 7 GB. But thanks for getting me to try it!

  8. I have 2 hotmail accounts and it only was available for 1 of them. The newer account did not allow the upgrade but the older account was given the option to upgrade!!!

  9. I just tried it here in the USA, but it doesn’t seem to be available.

  10. good to know on the international issue

  11. Thanks for the heads up Paul, unfortunately the upgrade is not available in Australia, but I am not going to sneeze at 7GB of free cloud storage, my dropbox is used daily so this will be a welcome addition.

  12. Yeah – I was a bit surprised 😉

  13. This is so cool. The iOS options for SkyDrive are not as bad as some of the others out there.

comcast norton antivirus software its the best one i know and havent got a virus.

  16. if you want something that will protect you and not slow down your system (ie AVG), I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials – easy to install and run
    http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

  17. Avira AntiVir Personal – Free Antivirus

google with keywords “avira personal free download”

  18. Cnet.com. Look for avast download. best antivirus there is.

  19. I would recommend AVAST or Avira – both free and have good level of protection.
Next would be Microsoft Security Essentials or free PCTools antivirus ( http://www.pctools.com/free-antivirus/download/ ).
I would not recommend AVG, though some like it. AVG tarnished its name in antivirus tests recently : they send faked screenshot while disagreeing with results.

  20. CNET has a great “Security Starter Kit” which as a lot of free software that will help you protect your computer. Check it out here:

They are a safe and trusted site with great editorial coverage of tech stuff.

  21. MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS. It has a higher detection rate than Avast and Avg.
So there. that’s your answer. Give me 10 points now.

  22. Here’s trusted, free anti-virus programs (only use 1 at a time):
    ♠ avast! Free Antivirus http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download
    ♠ Avira AntiVir http://www.free-av.com
